Half Day (Blended) Emergency First Aid at Work Training Course

This half day blended training course in emergency first aid at work (EFAW) will be held at our Leeds training centre at Sunny Bank Mills in Farsley, Pudsey , just off the ring road between Bradford and Leeds.

IDEAL for part time staff, those with childcare issues or just those who cannot make the full day's course, this blended method of training is accepted by HSE for the Emergency First Aid at Work qualification.

If your workplace environment has been identified as low risk and you need your employees to receive the Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) qualification, then this EFAW training course is perfect for you.

The training for the EFAW qualification equips you with basic life-saving first aid skills, as well as an understanding of workplace health and safety regulations. What is included in the course ?

• Timings: 9.30 am start - 1.30 pm finish.
• Photo ID required

Our half-day course meets the statutory requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 covering first aid emergencies and how to deal with them. The course is compliant with Ofqual, HSE and is regulated by QNUK.

Our instructors will present the training as a blended course over only a morning. This popular method allows online learning to be completed on any PC or mobile device ahead of the practical course.

Blended learning is run in 2 parts:

Part 1: Online

• This part of the course is self-directed and is expected to take up to 4 – 6 hours to complete. You can complete the modules at your own pace in your own environment providing you the flexibility you need. The online training must be completed within the 4 weeks prior to your face-to-face training.
• The online section of this course must be completed before attending the face-to-face section.

Part 2: Face-to-face (at our training venue)

• You'll be in the classroom for half a day, led by a specialist trainer.
