This one-day course provides learners with the essential skills and knowledge to respond effectively to first aid emergencies in the workplace, with additional content tailored to forestry and outdoor environments.
The training includes CPR, safe use of an AED, managing wounds and bleeding, shock, seizures, and incident management. The Forestry element covers catastrophic bleeding, crush injuries, hypothermia, Lyme disease, and the added risks associated with remote or woodland settings.
This course is ideal for those working in forestry, arboriculture, conservation, landscaping, agriculture or any role where enhanced first aid awareness is required.
Learners receive a nationally recognised EFAW+F qualification, valid for three years.
