First Aid at Work
Having the correct first aid at work provision is not just a legal requirement, it is incredibly important for the safety and well-being of all members of staff.
The Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 requires all employers to make arrangements to ensure their employees receive immediate attention if they are injured or taken ill at work.
White Rose Training Yorkshire works with OFQUAL regulated Awarding Organisations to provide a number of accredited first aid courses which meet the the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 due diligence criteria.
Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF)
A three-day course that meets the statutory requirements covering an extensive range of first aid emergencies and how to deal with them. The course is specifically designed for individuals who wish to act as a first aider in their workplace
Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF)
This emergency first aid course is a recognised one day course for businesses who, through their workplace risk assessment have identified the need for first aid trained personnel. This course is the minimum requirement whereas if a greater need has been identified then the full 3 day course qualification is required.
First Aid Annual Refresher
Would you run your car for three years without a service? No? Why then would you not provide your staff with annual refreshers to update and maintain their skill set?
The HSE recommend that each first aider undergo a first aid refresher course each year. This is part of your duty of care to your staff and first aid team.
